POLYP - Polyp corals generally require a stable tank environment to thrive. The should be kept in well lit tanks with a good amount of water flow albeit less than SPS need. They can be very fast growers under the right conditions: Calcium 350-400, Alkalinity 7-10 dkh, magnesium 1200-1300 ppm. salinity 1.024-1.026 and temp around 78F is what my corals do well under, you may have a value that's higher or lower which is fine as long as it is stable. They are easier to keep than SPS mainly because they ship better and they don't have the predators the SPS do, however several types of fish will nip at LPS corals and some of the acans like the echinatas have a very powerful sting that will kill other corals that are placed very close to them so make sure to give them room to grow when putting them into the tank.
